Hi, I’m Cindy.
My family has been in Cochrane for six generations, so you could say I’m a local farm girl.
Being a mom to my 4 beautiful children is my #1 “job”, which is why I love my business.
Like many businesses, mine started as a hobby with a friend. We wanted to create glassware with wild animals engraved on them for our husbands (both were hunters). We brainstormed how we would do it, starting with using her vinyl cutter. We would upload a photo of an elk, for example, and cut out the vinyl image, then use my sandblaster to create the finished product.
As we got creative and more people saw the glassware, people began ordering from us. We did our first trade show, then another and another.
After our first year, my business partner left. It was clear I either needed to shut the business down or find a more cost-effective way to fulfill the orders I was receiving. I was barely breaking even because I was using the time-consuming vinyl cutting and sandblasting method. That’s when I started researching laser machines, the detail they were capable of, the computer programs they run on, etc. I decided to take the plunge.
March 2021 Marks my tenth year in business. Over the past ten years, my business has expanded to include all the machines to do awards, promotions and custom gifts.
